In our most recent AroFlo update, we’ve added Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to AroFlo’s account security options by default.
This is a user-enabled* addition for users looking to further safeguard their AroFlo account against unpermitted access by third parties.
What is MFA?
MFA lets a user verify their identity and secure their accounts beyond what is normally allowed by a simple username and password. When enabled, a unique code is generated via an external app and then inputted into a device before the user can gain access to AroFlo.
How can I enable it on my account?
You can enable AroFlo’s MFA one of two ways:
1. Through Site Administration:
Site Administration> Users> Select User
OR
2. Through Office:
Manage> Users> Select User
For more information on enabling MFA on your account, check out our dedicated Help section here.
Note: This feature is only available to account managers within AroFlo, so some users may need to have MFA enabled for them.
*In future MFA will be compulsory for AroFlo logins that have access to Xero via AroFlo’s integrations menu. This is due to new rules enforced by the Australian Taxation Office that require Xero to ensure that users utilise MFA on any external software connected to their Xero accounting package.
