Melbourne, VIC, 24 March, 2015 – Cloud computing technology company i-man Pty Ltd has added some new features to IMS:
This week’s IMS updates are focused on simplicity – making things easier for both your admin staff and workers in the field.
Set commencement date
We recognise that many of our IMS users need to set tasks or maintenance jobs that have variable frequencies – i.e. ongoing monthly maintenance but with an added annual, quarterly or six monthly service. To cater for this we developed variable service templates that allow you to manage a service contract with different requirements, at different intervals.
We’ve now made a further update to IMS this week that gives you the flexibility to set the commencement date on your variable service template to cater for service contracts that may already be in effect.

Checklists on quotes
Many of you have been asking for the option to display checklists on quotes, not just on tasks. Our hard working developers have made it easier to add checklists to both quotes and tasks by implementing a simple drop down option for ‘Checklist Types’ in the admin area.
You now have the flexibility to select whether each item on a checklist appears on ‘Task’, ‘Quote’, or ‘Task and Quote’.

Set default labour type by task type
You can now set the default labour charge for specific task types in your preferred order with a simple click and drag. This means you can now apply your most commonly used labour types at the top of the list to make things easier and faster for your field technicians.

New suppliers for invoice imports
This week we’ve added eight more suppliers to our ever-expanding list of supported suppliers for invoice imports:
