February 2019 AroFlo Latest Product Updates

We’ve kicked off the year with a bang and have been working hard to roll several new enhancements, making AroFlo more flexible and easier to use. Our latest updates are accessible only to those using Permission Groups. If you haven’t already changed your users’ access settings to Permission Groups, we recommend you do so now to continue enjoying AroFlo’s latest features and enhancements.

Office and Field: Job Timer

With the latest addition of AroFlo’s Job Timer, it’s now easier for users to record labour hours and overheads. The Job Timer button has been added to the task worksheet, task labour worksheet and timesheet screens. Simply click the Job Timer button to accurately track labour hours, as well as any additional overheads such as overtime and travel time.

Start using the Job Timer button:

• Office interface: on the task and timesheet pages
• Field interface: on the task, the task labour and timesheet pages.

Office: RTF template layouts

AroFlo offers the flexibility of creating and utilising your preferred RTF document template instead of AroFlo’s standard layouts. We’ve simplified the process of creating the RTF document by allowing you to double-click to copy fields from a custom layout into an RTF document template.

Office: Calendar reports

If you like to see an overview of the month ahead and your scheduled jobs, you’ll be pleased to know that managers and those with the right permissions can now run reports to view an overview of all scheduled and ad-hoc events for all users, or for a single user, for the next 30 days.

Office: Project Templates and makeover

We’ve made some big changes to AroFlo’s Projects making them easier to use and saving you precious time. These improvements include a makeover of the Create/Edit Project screen and a new Project Template feature. Project Templates are a great time saver for quickly generating projects, the new Project Templates feature allows you to simply preset as little or as much project information as you need.

For those that use detailed quotes, you now have the option to generate tasks within the Project Template.

AroFlo and Xero Integration: Mark invoices as sent

You can now set your Xero integration to mark all invoices as ‘sent’, which allows Xero to conveniently send your clients email reminders if invoices are not paid on time.

Office: Payment storage upgrade

As part of AroFlo’s ongoing development and security strategy, we have moved to a more advanced and secure system to store all credit card details.
This upgrade affects those who make payment for their AroFlo subscription via Credit Card. A banner to notify users will appear across the top of your screen, when you log into your AroFlo site.

Simply click on the Add Payment Details button and enter your credit card details. Once your details are entered, your card details will tokenize and the information will be securely stored.

Office: Granting external access

AroFlo’s continuous commitment to data security, offers you complete control over who can access your site externally. From the 4th of March, when you contact AroFlo Customer Service for assistance, you will need to grant the AroFlo consultant access to your AroFlo site. External access can be set up at the time of the call via the External Access button located within the Help Menu.

Sit back and relax, knowing you have complete control to grant and revoke access to your AroFlo site at any time.

Office and Field: Permission groups

Access to all new AroFlo features now requires the use of permission groups. If you haven’t already started, transfer users from the old legacy user access settings across to permission groups, so that you can continue to access all the latest AroFlo features and enhancements.
