AroFlo: COVID-19 Update
As we enter an extended lock-down in Melbourne we ask for your understanding and patience while our customer service team protects our community by working away from our office. No doubt, many of you are experiencing the same situation in your business, and we extend our best wishes to anyone affected by this lockdown.
We ask for your understanding should any glitches occur and assure you that we’re doing our best to continue to provide excellent service and technical support to all our customers.
If there’s anything further we can do to support you and your business during this time, please reach out and let us know.
Gantt Chart: Introducing New Features
Project Task Scheduling
You can now double-click any task bar within your Gantt chart to schedule the task to your chosen resources. There will be two-way communication between your Gantt chart schedules and your AroFlo Calendar, so changes made in one will be reflected in the other. Too easy!
The Baseline button offers the option to display only the baseline. This is handy if you want to create an export of the baseline to send to your stakeholders. We’ve also added the task name to each baseline bar, so you can see where you are when using the Show baseline only feature.

AroFlo Field :
Field: Purchase Orders List
You may have noticed the Purchase Order list is the latest area to get a makeover in AroFlo Field.
In addition to a new, modern look, this update allows you to filter by approval status.
AroFlo Office :
New: Pre Built Compliance Forms Available
We’re pleased to have added another two new pre-built compliance forms to the vault.
- CO Spillage Test Report
- Type A Appliance Service Report
If you don’t see what you need on our list of Pre-Built Custom Forms, we can create custom forms specific to your business. Check out our dedicated help section here.
Good Company Culture + Happy Tradies = Profit
Think back to when you worked for your old boss. In that time, did you ever raise a great idea or suggestion, only to have them shut you down? If the answer to that question is yes, then you probably also thought, “I could do this WAY better than you.”
At the end of the day, we’re all shaped by our experiences, and it’s worth considering if your current employees may be thinking or feeling like you did then.
As the owner of my own trade business, Dr. DRiP Plumbing, I’ve learnt a lot about company culture over the years, but I’ll admit I haven’t always gotten it right. So, if you’re having trouble with staff retention, growing your business, and maintaining repeat customers, it might be because your company culture is lacking and needs some help.
In this article, Andy Smith, veteran trade business owner, and Lifestyle Tradie co-founder shares some great insight about building and sustaining good company culture.
