Welcome to the July edition of AroFlo’s Newsletter: a monthly roundup of our recent product enhancements and updates.

This month we introduced Task Email Addresses: a convenient way to ensure important job-related emails, including attachments and photos, are sent directly to the task they relate to. We also improved the Bulk Import functionality, allowing you to update the category, part number, and item description when updating your inventory.

Urgent Action Required: Transfer to Permission Groups

The process to phase out AroFlo’s legacy user access settings is underway and we’re approaching the September 13, 2021 deadline.

Our records show that some users are still using legacy access types and will need to be transferred to Permission Groups as a matter of priority.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Those businesses who have not transferred users across to Permission Groups by this date, will be migrated to our Pre-built Permission Groups as follows:

Coming Soon: Task Restrictions

Would you like to set restrictions so that only certain staff has access to particular tasks?

We’ll shortly introduce Task Restrictions within AroFlo Office and Field, which will allow your business to set restrictions on who can see which tasks. This is handy if you only want certain users to be able to view a particular task, or if users only want tasks that are relevant to them to appear in task lists.

Tasks: Task Email Addresses

We’re pleased to bring you Task Email Addresses – a convenient way to have important job-related emails, including attachments like documents or photos, sent straight to the task they relate to.

Simply create a unique email address for the task and send it to your contacts. This address can be used as the recipient address (To: Cc: Bcc:) when sending you info about the task.

Bulk Import: Update Inventory Details

You’ll be pleased to know you can now update the category, part number, and item description, when using the bulk import function to update your inventory.

Simply ensure to map the field ‘Encoded Item ID’ as well as the relevant fields containing updates (category, part number, and/or item description).

Field: Compliance Forms

You may have noticed the updated look of the Compliance Form screen within AroFlo Field.

Forms will now display using the tabbed layout you’re already used to.
